Privacy and POPIA

Yes. Every gallery is private and password-protected, so only the people you share it with can see it. Card and banking details are handled entirely by Payfast, so Pixsa never sees or stores them. Client details are handled in line with POPIA: you own your client relationships and decide how their details are used, and Pixsa processes them on your behalf.

Pixsa is built to meet POPIA: consent is collected at the gallery gate, data is encrypted, and anyone can ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of their data. Registration of our Information Officer with the Information Regulator is in progress. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

They email privacy@getpixsa.co.za. We may ask them to confirm who they are, and we reply within 30 days. Order records are kept for at least 5 years, as tax law requires.

No tracking or advertising cookies. Pixsa uses cookies to keep you signed in, to remember that a client has passed the gallery door, and to protect against forged requests. Two referral cookies remember which photographer's link brought you to Pixsa, for 30 days. Only Pixsa reads them. Our visit counter uses no cookies.

No. Your photos are never used for advertising or to train AI or machine-learning models, and Pixsa does not sell personal information.
